Blockchain Innovation Hub Co Director, Jason Potts, provided a keynote address at the launch which encapsulated why this model would be critical to the economy in the current tech revolution.
“This revolution is due to a supercluster of digital tech, sometimes called web3, but it's broader than that.… it is the refactoring and upgrade of the economic operating system.” Read Jason’s complete speech here.
First D3 course dropped & available to study FREE online
As part of the launch, Digital3 (D3) dropped an exciting and ‘first of its kind’ web3 business course aptly called ‘Doing Business in Web3’ which is now available to study online at no cost.*
With a duration of six weeks, the online course takes participants through a carefully crafted journey covering diverse topics including strategy, governance, law, token economics and scaling.
Course developer and Blockchain Innovation Hub Researcher Dr Darcy Allen, says that the course curates the knowledge needed to build business models in web3. “The web3 stack — including blockchains and smart contracts — fundamentally changes how we do business in a digital economy. This course helps to fill that gap in web3 business education.”
The 'Doing Business in web3' course is now available through FutureLearn with a continuous start date so new participants can join and start learning at any time – find out more and register here.
D3 will continue to roll out online courses and you can register your interest in future courses scheduled to be dropped here.
