Digital3 - the frontier to a new era of economic infrastructure

RMIT Digital3 has officially launched and is what RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub Director Jason Potts describes as being inspired by a design school but for business, in a new era of composable economic infrastructure.

"The frontier is #economic design" said Jason at the launch. "#D3 will provide a platform for the supercluster of fast moving digital tech - sometimes called #web3 (including #blockchain, #cryptcurrencies, #tokens, #DeFi, #NFTs, #DAOs and #virtualeconomies) so that we can understand how to use them well, understand their properties and teach these."

A highlight of the launch was an industry panel discussion on the digital revolution facilitated by RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub Director Chris Berg with Lorraine Finlay from Australian Human Rights Commission, Catherine Eibner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Michael Bacina from Piper Alderman and Karen Cohen from AlgoHUB
