BIH jump into the Metaverse at Web3 Meetup

The October Web3 Meetup was ‘Metaverse Madness’ giving attendees not only an insight into why the metaverse is hot property right now, but also a taste of virtual reality in real time!

This meetup as you can guess, was all about the metaverse including what it is, why people are building there and how to get started.

A panel of experts from Voxels and Punk Office who flew in from NZ and the USA, provided attendees with fun and engaging ways to interact with the metaverse as well as a sneak peak at what’s in store for Voxels in the coming year.

Voxels is a user-owned virtual world on the Ethereum blockchain where people can buy land, build on it, play music, host NFT exhibitions and more.

Event organiser and academic, Professor Ellie Rennie from the Blockchain Innovation Hub said the event was a great opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the metaverse and experience it firsthand with a highlight being the ability to attend the event virtually through the Voxels event arena (check it out here).
