BIH inspires RMIT blockchain students
BIH opened their doors to the RMIT Student Blockchain Club on the 9 September who held a career coaching workshop with over twenty RMIT students participating.
The workshop focused on web3 careers in the skilled based economy with hints and tips from web3 recruitment specialists ALT Recruitment who also spent individual time with student’s assessing their needs and answering questions. The workshop also looked at strategies to update participant’s online profiles in order to be recognised for potential opportunities.
RMIT Blockchain Student Club President Tulley Kearney said that these types of workshops were invaluable for blockchain students, especially now with such a high demand for digital skills in workplaces. “It is important for students to understand what opportunities are out there for them after they complete their study as well as knowing how to look for web3 work while they are studying because the demand is there” he said.
There was overwhelming positive feedback from students highlighting the need to hold more of these events in the future.
"Thanks for organising Tulley, it was another great event / workshop."
"Thanks for organising Tulley, great to be aware of recruiters in this space and anything "alt" has my vote :)"
The BIH team were also on hand later in the day to be introduced and hopefully inspire RMIT blockchain students who toured ‘the hub’ and met with some of our leading researchers in the blockchain field.
