BIH #2 blockchain university in the world

The RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub has been announced as the second highest ranked university in blockchain research out of a competitive field of 230 universities across the world. 

The ranking was conducted by Coindesk in conjunction with Stanford University and surveyed institutions that provided higher education courses and offerings and where academic research has impacted the development of blockchain technology. 

Blockchain Innovation Hub Director Professor Jason Potts says this accolade is well deserved by all involved in RMIT’s Blockchain Innovation Hub, which has been in operation for the last four years. “There is strong competition in the blockchain technology space in higher education. Our second placed ranking solidifies RMIT’s position as not only a world leading research centre but also as the top choice for students to come and study”.
