Jason Potts is a Distinguished Professor of Economics at RMIT University and cofounder of the Blockchain Innovation Hub and D3 at RMIT.  He is also a chief investigator on the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society.

Jason Potts is a Distinguished Professor of Economics at RMIT University and cofounder of the Blockchain Innovation Hub and D3 at RMIT.  He is also a chief investigator on the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society.  

His research focuses on the economics of innovation and new technologies, evolutionary and institutional economics, blockchain and web3 technologies for business. He has written and co-authored over eleven books including the most recent “Routledge Handbook of Evolutionary Economics”, and published over 100 articles on evolutionary and innovation economics. 

Jason is an editor of the Journal of Institutional Economics and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia.
