GenAI submission on Education in Australia
RMIT University researchers Darcy Allen, Dr Aaron Lane, Chris Berg, Ai-Phuong Hoang, Elizabeth Morton, Vy Nguyen and Stuart Thomas provided a submission to the Commonwealth House Standing Committee of Employment Education and Training on the Inquiry on the use of Generative AI in the Australian Education System.
They followed this up this week with Blockchain Innovation Hub Researchers Dr Darcy Allen and Dr Aaron Lane appearing as expert witnesses at the inquiry.
“We are rapidly moving into a world where students, teachers, researchers and administrators are all coming to work with their generative AI robots.” said Darcy.
“To enable these tools to transform our education and research system we need rapid and widespread experimentation.”
Experimentation with Generative AI is happening across all industries and sectors of our economy from consulting and copywriting to coding.
Research and Education is no different - so what is the future of education with GenAI?
