Digital CBD Project kicks off

The Digital CBD Project has launched the first of its five reports that will consider the acceleration of digital technology due to COVID-19 (known as the twin shocks) and therefore the opportunity areas for a Digital CBD.

This research project is commissioned by the Victorian Higher Education State Investment Fund (VHESIF) and a collaborative partnership with the Blockchain Innovation Hub, Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation and the Digital Ethnography Research Centre.

The five reports will form the basis for a strategic roadmap for a Digital CBD and will be released as follows:

Report 1 - The future of the Digital CBD: Melbourne and beyond - released 1 December 2021

Report 2 - The Docklands DAO - Reimagining precincts in a Digital CBD - released 7 April 2022
